Our mission: Students in the Honors Physics classes at Penn Wood High School in Lansdowne, PA are hosting this conference to educate local students and citizens about the science and policy surrounding of one of the major challenges of our time. The idea is to hold a community summit in which our citizens can interact with regional scientists, educators and policy makers to learn about three things:

1. The current state of our knowledge and science in the area of global warming.
2. The major policy initiatives of local, state and federal governments intended to mitigate this problem.
3. What we as citizens of our local and global communities can do to pro-actively meet this challenge.
